Therapeutic Music Experience File Folders and Kits
Specifically designed for and tested with older school-aged music therapy clients, these file folder activities and games promote music learning as well as creative expression, composition, impulse control, social engagement, and other therapeutic skill development.
File Folder Kits
File folder kits include a folder, labels, Velcro, folder materials printed on appropriate paper in both colored and black and white formats, and instructions for assembly. In addition, folder kits include explanations and recommendations for using folder experiences with clients.
Kits do NOT include glue, tape, or laminating materials.

In addition, completed file folders are available for purchase. Completed folders include finished products with explanations for use with clients.
Rhythm Wheel File Folder Kit $7.50

The rhythm wheel file folder illustrates the concept of note relationships in both visual and kinesthetic manners. Clients can manipulate the notes to illustrate subdivisions of notes as well as compose simple rhythmic patterns. Pieces include eighth through whole notes.

Incorporating both rhythmic notation as well as pitch indications, this file folder allows clients to compose music. Clients can place note cards onto a musical staff, identify the notes by name, and then replicate on Orff or keyboard instruments. Bass and treble clef folders available in kit and completed folder forms.
